Disneyland 31st May 2010
We arrived at Disneyland Hong Kong bright and early and very excited. Hailey had been talking about Disneyland for months. Margaret and Bruce were with us too.
At the beginning there is the Disneyland train station.
This is Main St and we were greeted with an amazing brass band. They were very clever.
At the entrance to Fantasyland. This is where we spent most of the day especially seeing as the much talked about Snow White lives here.
We went on lots of rides including the Dumbo ride. Hailey loved it.
Ben was quite thoughtful about the rides but was perhaps a little young to appreciate them as much as Hailey.
The Cinderella carousel.
And the wonderful moment where Hailey met Snow White. This is as exciting as it gets for a little princess adoring 4yr old.
Snow White was so lovely and chatted to Hailey for a short while.
The wonderful Mickey Mouse!
And Goofy. Ben was having his midday nap so slept through meeting the characters.
The cup and saucer ride. It is not as tame as it looks!!!
The small world ride. Hailey as enthusiatic as ever.
It was so well done. We went along in a little boat and looked at lots of displays of different people, characters and places in the world.
A clever craftsman in the shop making figurines.
The expectant watch......
And she sees it!!
The parade! Unfortunately it was raining so it was not the normal big parade but it was still great to watch.
Ben decided his favourite character is Dumbo. Margaret bought him a little Dumbo car and it hasnt left his little hand yet!
But the favourite part of Disneyland for Ben was the transportation vehicles. He couldnt take his eyes off this train even for a photo.
We all had a ride in the train.
