Christmas in Sydney 2009.

The long trip up to Sydney...... It took 11 hours and the kids were very good about it all. They slept, played, ate and watched a movie.

At Mums house.... Ben met Sophie her dog and fell in love. Sophie is a very patient and loving old girl.

Hailey and her cousins Olivia and Sophie. She spent alot of time with them and they all played so well. Such sweet girls.

On Christmas eve we went to a childrens service. There was an animal farm and Ben loved patting and feeding all the animals.
Hailey has a soft spot for chickens and is always drawn to them.
There was also a carol service where they re enacted the Christmas story. Hailey and a whole heap of other children went up the front to be angels. Hailey loved every minute of it.

Christmas morning!! We picked up Daddy from the airport then came back to Nanna's to start opening presents. It was such a lovely morning together.
Ben particularly loved his Tonka truck.
Hailey with some of her presents. I think her favourite was the Polly Pocket little doll.
Bucket boy. For some reason, Ben enjoyed having this bucket on his head so walked around a fair bit like this.
Me with my sisters Ros and Sally and sister in law Nian.
Hailey with some of her cousins opening presents at Christmas day lunch. We had lunch at Ros and Steve's. We had a great time together with everyone.
Hailey with her cousins Edward and Lucy. They are all 3 yrs old.
Hailey feeding a Cockatoo on Mums back verandah. Shane had just pulled her out of the bath to see the cocky, hence the towel. The birds are so tame and Hailey and Ben enjoyed hand feeding them.
On the trampoline jumping on Uncle Tim. He is alot of fun!
Then there was the Chickenpox..... We all got it but Shane, as he already had it when young. Hailey got it very mildly, Ben got a few more dots but I got heaps and was very sick for several weeks. Not fun but at least its all over and we wont ever have to get it again.

Home again... Ben giving Mummy cuddles. He is such a cuddly boy.
We unpacked the train set they received from Santa and they love it! Many hours have been spent playing trains.
Ben prefers to work the trains from ground level so he can watch the wheels.
Hailey with some of the trains.
All in all, we had a very happy Christmas and a fantastic trip all round!!
