A nice photo of Hailey with Nanna.

Hailey loves to cook and has become very proficient at making a chocolate cake!

Although sometimes I think her favourite part is licking the spoon at the end.

I found Ben like this the other night. He had climbed into the box of blocks and was having a lovely time!

Spring time!!

Its Spring and finally the flowers are starting to emerge after the long Winter. Here are a few pics of some of the flowers in our garden.
You may notice the new and improved quality of the photos!! Margaret has lent us her digital camera so the photos are now of much better quality. Thanks Margaret!!

Hailey and Ben love spending time out the front on their bikes. Finally after a very cold and wet winter, it is getting warm again so they can play outside alot more.

Some happy photos in the sunshine.

Shane with his pride and joy. He loves his motorbike. He has had it for just over 1yr now.

The faces of Benjamin

When we are at the shops, one of Hailey's favourite things to do is to stop for some Sushi!

Ben had his first ever dinner at the table instead of being in the high chair. Its a big step (although a messy one).

Last weekend, Hailey, Ben and I went for a drive in the country and ended up in Kinglake. 7 months on and the damage from the fires is still quite apparent. This is along the thin, winding road toward the town. The ground is brown and the trees are still black. Everything is burnt as far as you can see. It was quite a shock seeing what the fires did and also the distance that it covered.

We went into Docklands and had dinner at a nice Italian restaurant. It was very relaxing and a fun time was had by all. After dinner we went for a walk along the water and looked at the boats.
Two of Ben's favourite past times. Playing with his fire truck and observing his green bus from floor height. He could watch wheels for hours!

We picked up our new rabbit called Hokey. He is 8 weeks and is very friendly and inquisitive.

He likes food alot and here he is checking out the grocery shopping.

This is a photo of Shane with his Centralian Carpet Python. It is huge now. When we got it, it was tiny and about 25cms long. He loves it but everyone else is a bit nervous.

Finally the sun came out the other day, so Hailey got busy in the garden planting some flowers.
